This week was a pretty busy one and included mostly working. All week I was either teaching, helping my aunt, working a coat check or making maple taffy. All of this created a rather dynamic week, because my evenings were filled with various activities. One night consisted of a Couchsurfing get together. It was really nice to go out and see everyone again. The day after I went to Confederation Park with Robin. It was there Aaron Pritchett held a concert that we attended. It was a pretty good time and was compelling to see a country artist in the middle of a city.Â
At the concert we also saw the Winterlude Ice Hogs, a family of 4 mascots that are kind of cute looking. The following day consisted of skating on the canal once again in the form of a moonlit pub crawl through downtown Ottawa. We ended up going to three pubs all together. It was really cool to see how fast the canal emptied around 11pm. Everyone was just gone all of a sudden.Â
My week ended with meeting a fellow Couchsurfer from Paris who taught us a bit of sign language. I was absolutely stoked to learn some. Keep tuned for the end of Winterlude and future adventures in my next blog. In the mean time you can check my 'Across Canada' gallery and follow me on Facebook and Instagram
