This week Charlie got to have his first bath, and while he didn't love the idea, he handled it pretty well. His hair was super fluffy as well afterwards which was pretty funny. On the Thursday I went for a bit of a walk and saw an icebreaker down on the Rideau River. It is such a funny vehicle as it is pretty much a backhoe on a boat. It punctures the ice with the teeth of the bucket then punches the ice to break it apart. All this causes quite a bit of rocking, which makes it look like it's about to swamp itself every few minutes.Â
Part way through the week I walked over to Rockcliffe Park to explore it with Charlie. It's a really nice park with a trail through a small coulee of sorts. There are also some ruins that were placed there. They were interesting to see, one of which was a fountain, which was a little different when it's engulfed in snow.Â
This week I also started dogsitting Juneau. She is a giant fluffball who likes to meander slowly around like a giant goofball. She and Charlie seem to like each other and Charlie gets to play around a fair amount which is awesome. She's a variety of a whole bunch of breeds, but I'm not sure which ones. I'll watch Juneau and the cats in her house for a bit over a week. Keep up to date with what I'm doing by following me on Facebook and Instagram.
