Well, after 4 weeks of travel I ended up back in the Forestburg area for Thanksgiving. The first bit of the week was spent hanging out with friends, exploring the hills in the area and relaxing. Â This Thanksgiving my family got our family pictures taken. Â It's always an intriguing thing to be on the other side of the camera. I think it's only fair if a photographer allows their image to be taken. We rearranged our house before family pictures and boy, can some people make anything fun.
Even with all the activity going on I was lucky enough to have two Thanksgiving suppers this weekend. One of which was after helping with the Haunted Train Station in Forestburg! I think it's gonna be awesome! I've only helped out for 2 years but it's always so fascinating to see the whole place come alive. It started out as a basement and is transforming into a mind-boggling creation, all made possible by local volunteers. I recommend it to anyone in the area on Halloween or November 1.
This week is also a very exciting one for me because I officially have a travel companion! He's 1.5 years old and is very sweet. Meet Charlie everyone:
I'm sure you will see plenty more of him as images are posted in my 'Across Canada' gallery. Also be sure to follow me on Facebook and Instagram where I post fairly regularly.
