Over the past 5 years or so I have been learning more and more about agriculture. As I do so I want to ensure that I am doing it the best way possible. Ensuring to be a steward of the land and work with the plants and animals to create a thriving ecosystem. Many other farmers and ranchers also feel this way and there has been a major push in the past few years to become good stewards. This includes things such as rotational grazing, conserving riparian zones and permaculture. It is important that these 'theories' are not new. These are old traditions from many different Indigenous communities that we are looking back into. If you have the chance to learn more about it, please do. I also encourage you to look into the ecological and behavioral difference between bison and beef.
