This week has been a pretty interesting week for sure. It started in Kelowna where I met up with Kayley, a photographer friend. We hung out for a few days and naturally we ended up going for a photography adventure. Our outing of choice was to explore Crawford Falls which was pretty cool. It was a bit chillier that day but with the hike you could easily stay warm. Especially with the steeper areas (that you climb when you can't find the proper trail). One of my favourite things of photography friends is you get to play around with your images. Personally I love to paint with light and motion.
After Kelowna I started my drive toward Alberta. I planned on making it to Golden on the first night, but me being me, I got distracted. I drove by The Enchanted Forest near Revelstoke and knew I had to stop. I've been eyeing up this attraction for quite a few years now. Definitely worth it. It was really cool to see all of the different characters and stories. I even got to go for a rowboat ride!Â
After having my wish granted of visiting the Enchanted Forest I continued on toward Calgary before the snow storm hit. I parked pretty late but was pretty glad as the next morning there was a lot of snow and wind. I headed down to Lethbridge to visit another friend, but with all that snow the going speed was about 50km/h. Although I will say I am glad it was slow as there were multiple people who had slid into the ditch. It was an intense storm and was weird to see the snow and Autumn leaves together.
Due to some road closures I ended up staying down South for an extra day. But that was okay as I had the chance to hang out with Carter a bit more and also take some photographs while I waited for him to get home from school. It was a pretty chill week that was full of new adventures ranging from the Enchanted Forest to driving Carlton in a snow storm. Hopefully everyone also had a great Thanksgiving Weekend! Stay tuned and remember to follow me on Facebook and Instagram where I post regularly. Even more images can be found in my 'Across Canada' gallery as well!
